Remortgaging
Remortgaging can reduce your monthly mortgage payments, help you secure a lower interest rate and/or shorten your mortgage term. It’s also an option if you’d like to borrow money for home improvements or to pay off other debts, such as loans.
Remortgaging is when you move your mortgage on your existing property, from one mortgage product to another. This can be with the same lender or a different one. Your new mortgage will then replace your old one and your payments will change accordingly.
